Antique French 18k Gold & Amber Sheroot or Cigar Holder, "Fabrication Parisienne", Orig. Case Scent Nicely preserved in her original"Fabrication Parisienne, Or Controle" gold embossed maker mark applied on the interior of the old case for this lovely antique cigar and cheroot holder. The amber is a deep cherry color, gorgeous, and trimmed with an acid tested and hallmarked 18k gold crest or medallion sans monogram and a gold ring at the end. Amber is fossilized resin of certain species of ancient extinct trees and used for a variety of items during the Victorian era. Very good for
