At an elevation of 1,800 ft in the foothills of the very southern end of the Cascade Mountain range lies an oasis. The surrounding countryside is made of red volcanic rock but the small bowl, where this zin is grown, is green with growth. A nearby spring separates this area from the surrounds and provides a spectacular and unusual location to grow our zin. Hot days and very cool nights
