Seeing Myself Again Hooked Cushion Covers "Corn and Milpas: Embroidered designsWhile creating my piece, I embarked on a journey into the past to reconnect with my inner child. It was an intimate and transformative process, because I realized that to understand who I am today, I needed to look back and remember the little girl I once was. In that reunion, I discovered her curiosity, her joy, and her fears. By embracing her, I learned to offer myself the compassion and self love I had long lacked. This connection allowed me to
