Lion Heart fall color Leaves have a green centerAcer palmatum Lion Heart is a cultivar that was originally discovered in Australia. The dissected leaves have a thicker (less lacy) look to them, giving Lion Heart a unique appearance. Spring growth is bright red, which fades to blood red or even a reddish green in summer. Fall colors bring more reds that will last for months before losing leaves. This is a great cultivar for hotter climates (think Australia!) and we are excited to bring it back into
