Deep Canyon Coasters Watercolor on gallery-wrapped canvas -Watercolor on panel 6" x 6 (8" x 8" framed) Part of my Wild October Instagram Painting Challenge Collection. Since I am a desert dweller, my response to the topic In the Deep was to capture the deepest place in Arizona. The Grand Canyon, specifically the Colorado River, is the lowest place in the state coming in at about 70 80 feet above sea level. Worthy of all the accolades it receives, its vastness and beauty are humbling.
