though more rudimentary versions were also made using a single piece of flexible wood such as willow

as all the different joins can be seen

Calligraphy Brush, Turquoise d110 ShaanxiTraditionally used in China for centuries for the scholarly art of calligraphy, these beautiful brushes can be used for artwork today, but also just make lovely ornaments placed on a coffee table. They are newly made from jade, in a gorgeous turquoise colour. Each one varies slightly in terms of colour and pattern in the stone.
