I purchased a pair of brightly coloured  hairy slippers from  Marrakesh recently which seemed like a perfect place to start

Suspended from good quality silver earring hooks

I have reinvented them into charms for this gold-coloured metal chain

These earrings were made from a delightful piece of vintage textile which has made several pairs of one off earrings

This piece would look fabulous layered with other longer pieces
