Denver from the Capitol Dome Size:11"x14" The last stop I made

The last stop I made was at Willis Case Golf Course in northwest Denver

I stopped to photograph the small barn and when walking up the road for a different angle noticed an area by a gate where you could look down the length of the fence

Under a fall sky the Colorado State Capitol building rises from the shrubs and trees which surrounds the building

Not too far from sea level we came across this area and positioned myself on the rocks next to it in order to capture the lines and textures of the scene

Denver from the Capitol Dome Size:11"x14" The last stop I madeOn a warm November day, I headed to the Colorado State Capitol for a tour over the lunch hour. It was a nice fall day in the Mile High City which made it a perfect time to climb the nearly 100 steps to the dome. Walking outside provided a great view of Denver and the front range in the distance.
