Phillipe Girard Sancerre "Silex" 2019 strawberry BOTTLE SIZE: 75cl ABV: 14%Fine Wine from Our Bottle Shop and Taproom: Production Although the Girards have vines growing in all three of Sancerre's major soil types, this wine is sourced from two specially selected vineyards of Silex (flint) soil called Jeugny. Grapes from old vines were hand picked and gently pressed, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine was made by Philippe Girard, Michel Girard's son, in conjunction with our own winemakers to show off the
