Deanston 16 Year Old 2002 Organic Oloroso Cask Finish 70cl Oban Food MatchThis single malt from the Highlands producer Deanston has a light amber gold presence. To the nose it is honeyed scent of raisins, dates and toffee, expertly crafted with delicate hints of honey spiced fruit and sweet malt. On the palate it is rich with oak, toffee and chocolate notes with smooth and subtle flavours of honey, spiced fruit and sweet malt once again. The finish is long lasting and lingers with a taste of dried fruit and honey.
