CH AUSONE sku_1896953 Pure and straight structureA compelling wine. Deep, dark purple red colour. Brooding purple fruit aromas are masked by slight notes of reduction. The palate displays a fabulous array of red fruit across a spectrum from redcurrant and raspberry, through plum & damson to loganberry wonderful fruit intensity is supported by a fine structure & balanced by fresh but not sharp acids. Tannins are tight but silky & the alcohol is balanced. The long, clean finish shows lovely fruit.
